Dr. Jeanne Vachon B.Sc., D.V.M

Dr Jeanne Vachon graduated from the University of Guelph in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science and obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1997. In 2004 she built the Lafontaine Veterinary Clinic in Rockland. In practice her special interests are surgery, dentistry and preventive medicine. During her spare time she enjoys going to antique auction sales and playing classical harp and piano.

Le docteur Jeanne Vachon a obtenu un baccalauréat ès sciences de l’Université de Guelph en 1993 et son doctorat en médecine vétérinaire du Ontario Veterinary College en 1997. En 2004, elle a mis sur pied la clinique vétérinaire Lafontaine à Rockland. En tant que professionnelle, elle s’intéresse particulièrement à la chirurgie, à la dentisterie et à la médecine préventive. Quand elle n’est pas au travail, elle fréquente les ventes aux enchères d’antiquités et joue de la harpe et du piano.

Mrs. Stephanie Savage
Practice Manager / Gestionnaire

In 2003, after attending the administration program at La Cité Collégiale, Stephanie started working as a receptionist in a veterinary clinic. She then had the opportunity to come work at the Lafontaine Veterinary Clinic in December 2004 as the practice manager. In practice, she has special interest in public relations, customer care and is also trained to assist the medical team during emergencies.

Stephanie is currently enrolled at McMaster University and is working on getting her CPA (Certified Professional Accountant) designation. She also manages her husband’s electrical company and loves spending time with her twin girls, Audrey and Brianna. In her spare time, she likes playing the piano, painting, reading books and cooking.

En 2003, après avoir terminé le programme d’administration à la Cité collégiale, Stéphanie a travaillé comme réceptionniste dans une clinique vétérinaire. En décembre 2004, elle s’est jointe à la clinique vétérinaire Lafontaine à titre de gestionnaire. En tant que professionnelle, elle porte un intérêt particulier aux relations publiques et aux contacts avec les clients; elle possède également la formation voulue pour aider le personnel médical en cas d’urgence.

Stéphanie est actuellement inscrite à l’Université McMaster où elle poursuit des études en vue d’obtenir son diplôme de comptables professionnels agréés (CPA). Elle gère également l’entreprise d’électriciens de son mari et elle adore passer du temps en compagnie de ses jumelles Audrey et Brianna. Dans ses temps libres, elle joue du piano, peint, cuisine et aime bien lire de livres.


Mrs. Josée Poissant

Registered Veterinary Technician / Technicienne Veterinary Enregistrée

Josée obtained a degree in veterinary technology from the St-Lawrence College in Kingston in 1999.Since then, she has been working as a registered veterinary technician in small animal practice and has joined the team of the Lafontaine Veterinary Clinic in December 2004. She enjoys the surgery days the best, starting from doing the pre-anesthetic blood work, the drug calculations, induction of anaesthesia, monitoring the patient and sterilizing of the surgical instruments. She also enjoys attending continuing education seminars
When at home, she enjoys spending time with her family which includes her 2 girls, her husband and her pet dog Molly.

Josée a obtenu son diplôme de technicienne vétérinaire du St Lawrence College de Kingston en 1999. Depuis, elle travaille à ce titre dans des cliniques pour petits animaux. Elle s’est jointe à la clinique vétérinaire Lafontaine en décembre 2004. Elle aime particulièrement les jours consacrés aux chirurgies, au cours desquels elle procède aux prélèvements sanguins avant l’anesthésie, au calcul du dosage des médicaments, à l’induction d’anesthésie générale, à la surveillance des patients et à la stérilisation des instruments chirurgicaux. Pour parfaire son éducation, elle prend part à divers séminaires consacrés à la médecine vétérinaire.

Quand elle est à la maison, Josée aime passer du temps avec sa famille, à savoir son époux, ses deux filles et son chien Molly.


Mrs. France Lacelle

Education: College d'Alfred

Pets: 3 Cats: Puss in the boots, Spike and Lover boy

France Lacelle, VT
Veterinary Technician / Technicienne Vétérinaire


France obtained a degree in veterinary technology from the Alfred College in 2007. She was hired as a veterinary technician following her placement at the Lafontaine Veterinary Clinic. In practice, she enjoys assisting surgeries, seeing challenging medical cases and doing laboratory work. She is very dedicated to patient care and preventive medicine such as nutritional counseling and parasitic prevention programs. She also enjoys attending continuing education seminars.

At home, she enjoys watching movies, crafting and spending time with her Husband and their 3 cats.

France a obtenu son diplôme de technicienne vétérinaire du Collège d’Alfred en 2007. Elle a été employée à ce titre après avoir fait un stage à la clinique vétérinaire Lafontaine. Au travail, elle apprécie prendre part aux chirurgies en tant qu’adjointe, s’occuper de cas exigeants et faire du travail de laboratoire. Elle se consacre activement aux soins des animaux ainsi qu’à la médecine préventive, particulièrement aux recommandations sur l’alimentation et à la prévention parasitaire. Pour parfaire son éducation, elle prend part à divers séminaires consacrés à la médecine vétérinaire.

Quand elle est chez elle, elle aime voir des films, faire de l’artisanat et passer du temps en compagnie de son mari et de leurs trois chats.
